About the event

The Rajans Badminton Championship Committee, in collaboration with the Parents Association of Dharmaraja Badminton and the Old Rajans Badminton Association, is proud to announce the return of the Rajans Badminton Championship. This eagerly anticipated annual event has been successfully organized in previous years and continues to grow in scale and spirit, serving as a cornerstone of our badminton calendar. The championship is designed to encourage new players to take up the sport while also offering a competitive platform for seasoned players. It fosters sportsmanship, strengthens community bonds, and ignites a passion for badminton among students and supporters alike. All proceeds from the tournament will go towards the development of the school's badminton program — including upgrades to facilities, better equipment, and enhanced training opportunities. I’m Senuka Navaratne, the captain of the Dharmaraja College Badminton Team.

We’re organizing our annual badminton tournament at the KMC Indoor Stadium, Katukale, Kandy, on November 1st. The event will bring together over 300 players and around 500 attendees, including parents, teachers, and associates.
