From North Pole to the Pacific - One Diver with one mission: Save Our Oceans
Kristijan Curavic has broken records in the harshest waters on Earth, freediving beneath the ice on the North Pole. Now, he is taking on a new challenge, not for the glory, but for the planet.
This time it is not just about breaking the record, but about raising the awareness and taking action to protect the oceans.
During his 3-day ocean dive off the coast of Los Angeles, he will address various heads of state, royal families he has worked with and decision makers to take action by addressing them with a speech from beneath the ocean surface. This is the first time that speech from under the water will be broadcast live in the international media.
Our oceans are choking in plastic and we need your support to send the message to the world: This isn't just a dive, it's a countdown, because if we don't act now, there will be no ocean left to save.
To start with, I'm seeking visionary sponsors who want their brand to stand out not just for innovation and success but for a meaningful change.
Of course, you will get global attention: It's a record-breaking attempt that will attract press, ocean advocates and wide digital audience.
Your brand will be linked to a high-impact environmental cause with emotional, unique and visual storytelling.
Logo exposure, event banners, livestreams, interviews and post-event documentaries.
The donations will directly fund beach cleanups in California and certification of plastic free marine areas.
This is your chance to create a change.
Kristijan's story starts on the smallest island of the Adriatic coastline, the Island of Krapanj, where he grew up.The island is famous for its diving and sponge diving tradition older than 300 years. He had his first encounter with the sea at the age of 4 when he fell in and drowned, clinically dead for more than 5 minutes before being saved by a local fisherman and resurrected back to life. Fast forward, he initiated in 2007 Guwaa global underwater awareness association which becomes OACM in 2014 with the support of Formula 1 CEO Bernie Ecclestone, and the former President of the Republic of Croatia Stjepan Mesić (2000 – 2010), and officially launches the Guwaa - OACM initiating the world’s largest ocean clean-up in 60 nations with HSH Prince Albert ll of Monaco.
OACM - Ocean Alliance Conservation Member is a conglomerate of united nations, corporations and world organizations committed to protect, preserve, and physically clean oceans, lakes, and rivers. It is the first organization in the world to create and launch a financially sustainable system which can be integrated with governmental or corporate sectors.
